2011 AMTF Conference
Our 2011 Conference was a great success! Everyone had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it. Below is a list of speakers, their bios, and a brief description of their talk. Many of the talks will be available on CDs at a later date.
The Immaculate Concept
by Karyn Posella
Summary
Mother Mary brings us the Ascended Masters’ explanation of the Immaculate Concept. So many of us have lost sight of this beautiful horizon in all the doing, doing, doing of the Western World. Mother Mary tells us that the Immaculate Concept is simply the “GOD-IMAGE” of each of us. It “...is a shining Presence, a starry-eyed God or Goddess waiting to externalize through every human form.” Karyn’s lecture directs your eyes and your heart back to that horizon, to assist you to fix your eyes on it, to show you who you really are, and to offer you a path to your real self – thus, showing you a path to your Liberty and Freedom.
Bio – Karyn Posella
Karyn is a true bi-coastal person – hailing from western Massachusetts and growing up in southern California. She has a BA and an MLA in Italian and Liberal Arts and a minor in vocal music. She is a teacher, a singer, an artist, a performer/director, a writer, a translator, loves languages and grammar, and loves to do anything AMTF assigns her to do.
She has been a member of the AMTF Associate Board (the Council) since 2007 when it was established. She first started studying the teachings in 1989 and attended her first conference in 2000. Werner invited her to give her first lecture in 2002, and it changed her life.
She is on the First Ray, the blue and crystal ray, and works with and loves Master El Morya, as he continues to pull her up the side of a sheer cliff!
Cutting Ourselves Free from Judgments
and Resentments against Others

Summary
This lecture examines the negative habits of judgment and prejudice that we are consistently carrying around and unconsciously emitting and releasing in waves of negative energy. We find that mastering this energy falls under the initiations of the Third Ray whose great Master Nada triumphed over these initiations in her personal life and in the temples of Luxor. Because the Masters experienced the same initiations as we do before they ascended, we take a brief look at the lives of Moses, Saint Paul, King Arthur, and Roger Bacon. After examining the three groups of people and situations that irk us today, we are offered solutions to help us “make things right” and ways to love life free. The lecture ends with a guided visualization, using the Pink Flame of Divine Love, Compassion, and Forgiveness.
Bio – Mickey Cox
Mickey completed her restless spiritual quest in the early 1990s when she at last found Saint Germain and the Ascended Master Teaching Foundation. The AMTF order blank became her new library card, and she consumed all the books offered in print. She has been a member of the AMTF Associate Board (the Council) since 2007.
For nine years, Mickey was a lead teacher in Montessori classrooms for three-to-six- year-olds. For five years, she held the position of editor and supervisor of the technical publications department at a nuclear power plant. For the past twenty years, she has been a college instructor of writing, grammar, and English courses at Saint Louis Community College.
Her service to life is teaching at risk 17-25-year-old developmental students who lack Standard English and writing skills. Every day, she silently projects love to the heart flames and Archangel Michael’s ring-pass-not around the lower bodies of these students who are the Hope of the new day.
Set the Earth and All Her People Free
with the Fiery Cosmic Flame of Freedom

Summary
This lecture highlights information that Saint Germain stated he desired his chelas and friends of Freedom to know, understand, and apply to help him in his Cause of Freedom. The goal of the lecture diversifies into the following:
- The evolution in consciousness of Saint Germain's vision for the next cycle
- The development of the Cause and Flame of Freedom by Saint Germain
- A reminder to chelas and friends of the accountability, responsibility, opportunity, and Divine Authority, as co-creators with God and as members of Saint Germain's family, to invoke the Violet Flame of Freedom in order to set all imprisoned life free and to assist Saint Germain in the fulfillment of his divine desires and plan for the dawning Golden Age of Freedom
Bio – W. Scott Sanford, MD
While practicing as an internist in Starkville, MS, Dr. Sanford came across a magazine that mentioned the Ascended Masters. Feeling a strange attraction to them, he developed an intense desire to learn more about them. Through a friend, he was introduced to the Saint Germain "Green Books" series of the I AM Activity. After studying the Saint Germain series for a couple years, Dr. Sanford moved to Colorado to practice. In 1993, he was driven by an inner prompting to find, in Boulder, CO, the "White Books" of the AMTF. He became a member of the AMTF in late 1993 and attended his first AMTF conference in August 1994 at Grand Teton National Park. He is an AMTF Guardian of Truth. His first lecture at an AMTF conference was in August 2011, in Mt. Shasta, CA. He is a group leader of an internet-based group that holds a decree service every Monday night. Dr. Sanford presently resides in Oxford, MS, practices emergency medicine, and is the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. His wife, Trish, is also a student of the AMTF publications and has attended the last two conferences.
The Importance of the Breath

Summary
Intention of this talk: To more fully understand the nature of the breath – to understand it more deeply, so that we can apply it:
- To better serve the Transmission of the Flame by understanding the nature of the act of breathing and to do it more efficiently.
- To purify our four lower bodies though the use of our breath, which is essential at this time for the development of all mankind – for life is in the breath.
- To achieve personally, each one of us, a sense of peace, harmony, and greater happiness in our lives and in our relationships with one another.
- To assist the earth and mankind in cooperation with the Inbreath of our world, as we are drawn closer to Beloved Helios and Vesta.
Bio – Karen Hunter
Karen Hunter has been a member of the AMTF Council since 2009. She found the teachings in 1995 (after many detours!). Karen has been an active student of the words of the Masters for sixteen years. Karen and Sherry Yeh met and, discovering their common interest through AMTF, began the Houston group in 2002. In nine years, the group has grown to include seven active members, two of which regularly join their services on Saturdays and Tuesdays from Sacramento and from San Antonio via the internet.
Karen is an artist and teaches drawing and painting in Houston, Texas. Other interests include travel, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and grandchildren.
Act Now with Love and Mercy:
Words from Ascended Masters Nada and Kwan Yin

Summary
The theme of our Conference for the year 2011 is “Act Now: The Supreme Urgency of the Hour”. What is the supreme urgency of the hour? Is it related to the outer events of our time or to the inner state of mankind? Also, what actions are appropriate to meet this urgency?
The chelas of the Ascended Masters need to do a number of things before they can be of use to the Ascended Host. First, each one should strive for purity and maintain peace and harmony despite what occurs in the outer world. Without this, an individual is too unstable to be useful and would likely distort any illumination or directions provided by the masters. Saint Germain has suggested that an individual with purity and equanimity can bring calm to a situation and save a city in distress. Further clues can be found in the Ascended Masters’ teachings that provide a means to transmute misqualified energy, redeem karmic debt, and manifest the Divine Plan for ourselves and for the planet. This paper considers the guidance of Ascended Masters Kwan Yin, regarding karma and its redemption by use of the Violet Flame, and Lady Nada, regarding the use of the Pink Ray of Love.
Bio – Newman Peery, Jr.
Newman has been on the path of spiritual inquiry most of his life. He attended services of the Baptist Church and studied the catechism in the Roman Catholic Church while in high school in the 1950s. In graduate school, he studied Edgar Cayce and Carlos Castaneda, in the 1960s. After graduate school, Newman turned to the work of Alice Bailey, in the 1970s, and later encountered the work of Rudolf Steiner. He became an Anthroposophist in the 1980s. While teaching at Utah State University, during the 1970s, he was introduced to the I AM movement but found it very difficult to obtain the works by Mr. Ballard at that time. A friend sent him the 21 lessons of the AMTF in the 1990s, and Newman has been working with these Ascended Master teachings since that time.
During the 25th Anniversary of the AMTF Conference, Newman met several AMTF members from Houston, TX and has been a part of their study group for six years.
Newman retired as a Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship from the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific, in 2008, after 26 years of service. He received a PhD from the University of Washington, in 1974, and taught, in Canada, at Simon Fraser University and Utah State University before joining the University of the Pacific.
I AM Victorious

Summary
What stops one from being victorious? This lecture highlights the struggle of our human personality and human habits. It offers solutions and applications to assist in obtaining victorious accomplishment.
Have you ever thought about what victory is? It is a virtue of God. This essence and flame of victory that resides in the three-fold flame in your heart has been there from the moment you were given life and consciousness, from the moment you were born out of the heart of God, from the moment you recognized your own God individuality as “I AM”. You must learn to utilize this flame, you must increase the momentum of this virtue, but most important of all, you must use it to set life free.
Bio – Sherry Yeh
Sherry graduated from University of Houston, with a computer science degree, in 1984. She has accumulated business experience in medical billing, in retail sales, and in managing a sandwich shop. She owned and operated a Chinese herb store from 1997 to 2002.
Sherry has been studying the teachings since 1997. She is one of the leaders of the Houston group. She has been a member of AMTF since 2004 and a member of AMTF Council since 2009.
Acting in the Needs of the Hour

Bio – Joyce Ballard
Joyce’s life experiences have been varied.
She is a teacher, certified in K - 12 in all areas of Special Education, an accountant, an artist doing direct metal carving and sculptures, a certified massage therapist, and teacher of alterative healing modalities.
Like most of us she has been a seeker on her spiritual path since she was a young child. Finally, in 1985, she found a large piece of the puzzle when a teacher handed her a green book from the Saint Germain Foundation. The last piece of the puzzle arrived when she found the white books of AMTF. At that time, she knew she was home.
She is a member of the AMTF Board of Directors and has been an active AMTF Council member since 2007.
